Who is Flo Digital?

 

Flo Digital was created with a vision to support service-based SME’s and small business owners.  We consult with small business owners on their marketing strategy and mentor and advise to empower, inform, motivate and help business owners navigate and overcome the challenges that all small businesses face. We help non-tech small business owners gain confidence and adopt digital technology ensuring business processes are efficient and cost-effective.

Working closely with the business owner and management team to identify the vision for the business, we research and analyse where the business is now and advise on opportunities for the future. From this analysis, we create a marketing strategy that will align with the business’ objectives.

Flo Digital is led by founder and marketing consultant, Nicky Flood.  She is supported by a team that has been chosen for their creativity, talent and ability to deliver projects to a high standard and within the given timelines. The team works remotely and collaborates in the cloud, embracing the modern way of working while supporting the team's lifestyle choices. Our team culture is collaborative, supportive and productive. We love what we do and this is reflected in our work!

We are socially conscious and love working with entrepreneurs and innovators that drive changes in their industry and want to provide sustainable, creative solutions and brands that make an impact for good.

 

Meet Nicky

Hi, I’m Nicky Flood – Marketing Consultant, Digital Strategist and Small Business Mentor. I’m ready to help you take the next step in your business journey and provide clarity and support for your marketing.

Why am I the perfect person to help you and your business?

While I consider myself an entrepreneur and have worked at a corporate level, my passion is small business. I am a small business owner, in fact throughout my career, I have owned three small businesses – all in different industries.  

I know the challenges small businesses face because I face them too but there is so much to love as the owner of a small business. I love the freedom to make my own decisions and that you can adapt to change quickly and see immediate results. While exhilarating for me, it can be daunting for others and that’s where I can help you.  

I recognised early in my career that digital marketing was the way of the future for the business. Like anything new, digital marketing can be a scary step for a lot of business owners. Over the last 10 years, I have focussed on working with small businesses to break down the digital marketing barriers and help them to develop marketing campaigns.  

I’m not just about digital marketing!

I have extensive experience working within the Australian media industry including broadcast and national and local publications. I have a sound understanding of the media landscape in Australia and what mediums are best suited to leverage integrated marketing campaigns and strengthen brands. My background in commercial photography has been integral to helping me build strong visual marketing campaigns. 

My thirst for learning and my eagerness to develop new skills in business management and digital technology ensures that I’m top of my game.

I encourage my clients to be authentic and that’s what I bring to our professional relationship. I don’t wear a suit or have multiple degrees in subjects that hold no relevance, but I’ve been in the trenches and worked hard to get where I am and be able to help you run your business to its full potential. I have a Diploma in Photography and Business; I have built brands and managed small businesses – I know how to help you. 

My holistic and analytical approach to mentoring and consulting ensures I consider the business owners’ vision for their business and their life goals. Together, we will develop strategies that align with your business goals and objectives to create a business that is sustainable and focused on growth.
